Welcome to Holistic Doula Services!!! We are here to help make your childbirth experience everything you want it to be! My name is Danielle Griffin, and I am a Doula, and the owner of Holistic Doula Services. I think childbirth is a natural process that can be enjoyed, and looked back upon with feelings of love and euphoria. Doula: a woman experienced in childbirth who provides advice, information, and emotional support to a mother before, during, and just after childbirth. Mission Statement: I believe it is every woman's right to give birth in a way that makes them feel comfortable, positive, and blissful. It is your right to be heard and be respected during such a powerful time in your life. I want to spread awareness of the beauty of achieving the childbirth of your dreams and I want to help you down that path. 
Holistic Doula Services is growing!!! We've welcomed a new doula to our team! Courtney Long has two children, one born in a hospital, and one born at home. She's been attending births for about 5 years, and has studied birth extensively. Of the births she has attended, one mom had twins, and three moms had C-sections. She was present in the O.R. during each C-section. She has supported women laboring at home, in the hospital and at a birth center. In addition, She has a bachelor's degree in sociology, with a minor's in women's studies; a significant part of her women's studies work was devoted to childbirth and women's reproductive health care, including breastfeeding. During the last year, she also helped teach a childbirth class at a birth center in Montana, where she lived up until recently. She is strongly passionate about women having choices about the kind of birth they want to have. It is very important to her that women and famillies are supported so that their birth is an event that is a positive and empowering experience. She is honored every time she has an opportunity to be a part of welcoming a new life into the world!

We wanted to thank you again for being at our birth. You were such a wonderful addition to our experience and a great energy when I really needed steadying and calm. We were so nervous about being at the hospital so unexpectedly after finding out we couldn't have our home birth or our midwife as planned. Your advocacy was absolutely invaluable enabling us to lower our defenses and our stress levels, and allowed us a positive experience overall. We were so thankful for you and your services from the time we met you at check in through the house call the day after we went home. Should we ever have another one, we will certainly be calling you again.
