Welcome to Holistic Doula Services. My name is Danielle Griffin, and I am a Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Photographer. I think childbirth is a natural process that can be enjoyed and looked back upon with feelings of love and euphoria. I look forward to helping you along your journey to motherhood in a holistic way. Every birth is a beautiful miracle. I want to help my moms and dads/partners feel their voices are heard, their opinions respected, and that they understand all of the choices laid out before them. I help my parents advocate for themselves in a firm, yet gentle way. I am present as much or as little as I am needed, and I always make sure to keep dad/partner as an active birth partner assisting the laboring mother. Studies have shown that women never forget even the tiniest details of their birth experience. I believe having a doula is investing towards making sure those memories are fulfilling and satisfying in retrospect. Mission Statement: I believe it is every woman's right to give birth in a way that makes them feel comfortable, positive, and blissful. It is your right to be heard and be respected during such a powerful time in your life. I want to spread awareness of the beauty of achieving the childbirth of your dreams and I want to help you down that path. |

We wanted to thank you again for being at our birth. You were such a wonderful addition to our experience and a great energy when I really needed steadying and calm. We were so nervous about being at the hospital so unexpectedly after finding out we couldn't have our home birth or our midwife as planned. Your advocacy was absolutely invaluable enabling us to lower our defenses and our stress levels, and allowed us a positive experience overall. We were so thankful for you and your services from the time we met you at check in through the house call the day after we went home. Should we ever have another one, we will certainly be calling you again.
